Mobile apps are cool

09/29/2009 (Mobile Applications)

Recently, I have been researching a lot about mobile apps and the possible fields of application. Day by day I am becoming more and more amazed about the possibilities and what will come up in the next few months.

Here is a little example. I am lying on the couch and trying out mynew wordpress app for the iPhone. Within 2 min I was connected to my Blog, could edit the comments and write this article. Cool! I love it!

iPhone app recommendation of the day: wordpress App.

Since there isn’t that much out there yet (Yes Dirk! iPhone-Fan.de) I will post once in a while something I really enjoyed.

Did You Know…the importance of the web

09/16/2009 (Web 2.0 and Social Media)

This morning trendquest published a video from mediaconvergence.economist.com in their blog I really enjoyed. “Did you know 4.0″ with the latest numbers of the internet and social media use.

Here for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet:

“Did you know 4.0″

Somehow I missed the first movie “Did you know 2.0″ with more than 3,6 million views which is great as well:

Twitterverse by Brian Solis

08/27/2009 (Web 2.0 and Social Media)

Yesterday I was talking with Silke Wieland, social media expert at siemens, about the variety of Twitter clients out there and she was told about the Twitterverse. Somehow I totally missed out on that. One of my favorite social media guys scored again…

The Twitterverse by Jess3 & Brian Solis.

Twitter is down…and will never come back!

08/06/2009 (Kategorie)

Well, now it’s the first time that Twitter is completly unavailable. First I thought Cotweet is having problems again, no Twitter is gone…what happend? Mashable didn’t write anything yet (probably still sleeping), but I am sure there will come something up.

Now let’s all imagine Twitter will never be online again? What’s going to happen?

- Nothing would happen because the mainstream still doesn’t get why we are on Twitter or what it is
- 25% less posts on Mashable and Techcrunch
- Fastest new Social Media trends in Social Media history would come up
- Copycats would come up with the same idea
- My colleague “you would be unemployed”

What do you think would happen if Twitter disappears from one day to another?

Oh no, facebook is making problems now as well…

By the way, Mashable initiated the crash with their crappy Twitter guidlines presentation on slideshare!!! ;-) (link)

Mashable Twitter Guidelines

08/06/2009 (Kategorie)
